The meeting paid a rich tribute to one of its founders, Abdul Malik, who passed away in Jeddah a few months ago.

During the celebration, the children presented cultural programs including “Bharata Natyam”, “Villuppattu”, “Kiramiya Nada-nam”, “Puliyattam” and a variety of folk dances. One other founder member of JTS, C.J. Shahjahan, spoke about the opportunities and the challenges prevailing back home. During the program, the sponsors for the anniversary were honored. A draw was organized and gifts were distributed.

A debate on “Happiness in the family is determined by either money or relationship” was presided over by Mohammed Ali, former professor, World Muslim University, Malaysia. The chief coordinator of JTS, Mohammed Rafeek, conducted the proceedings.
