- JEDDAH: Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, recently visited the new building of the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies in the UK.
- The prince toured the building, which has been designed by the renowned architect, Abdul Wahid Al-Wakil.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah donated £20 million to the center while Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, donated £2 million to set up an Islamic Arts hall at Ashmolean Museum. The hall is named "Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Hall."
