"Instead of supporting such criminal activity, the Canadian government should immediately demand that Israel end the siege and blockade of Gaza," he explained. "Furthermore, the Canadian government should immediately end its own sanctions against Gaza, which are only contributing to a deepening humanitarian crisis for the civilian population there."

"The IJV urges Canadian individuals and organizations to actively support the growing nonviolent international boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign until Israel complies with international laws and respects Palestinians' human rights," Haiven concluded.
