- RIYADH: The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) entered on Saturday into a cooperation agreement with the Oxford Business Group (OBG), the global publishing, research and consultancy firm, to help the group publish its report on Saudi Arabia’s economic activity and business opportunities.
The forthcoming report on Saudi Arabia’s economic activity and business opportunities will serve as a vital guide to the many facets of the Kingdom, including its macroeconomics, infrastructure, political landscape, banking and other sectoral developments. It will include a detailed, sector-by-sector guide for foreign investors. It will also feature a wide range of interviews with the most prominent political, economic and business leaders and will be available in print and online.
Under the collaboration, RCCI will provide the Riyadh-based arm of OBG’s editorial and research team with key business intelligence on the city for the Group’s forthcoming report on Saudi Arabia’s business activity.
The RCCI has long played a key role by supporting the private sector in Saudi Arabia and encouraging it to step up its involvement in the Kingdom’s economic expansion. It has built effective partnerships between private enterprises and public authorities and has also been active in identifying investment opportunities for business leaders both locally and internationally.
Speaking at a press conference held Saturday at the RCCI headquarters in the capital, OBG’s Country Director in Saudi Arabia Neslihan Aydagul said she was delighted the RCCI would be pooling resources with the group for its forthcoming country report, given the heightened economic activity currently taking place in the Kingdom.
“Since OBG launched its operations in Saudi Arabia, we have documented the impressive pace of the Kingdom’s economic expansion that has been facilitated by the leadership’s careful planning and massive reserves set aside during the oil boom,” she said.
“The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry not only has its finger firmly on the pulse of the city’s business scene, but also boasts a comprehensive knowledge of the Kingdom’s economic landscape, which I am convinced will bring a new dimension to our forthcoming report.”
