- ABHA: Border Guards arrested 51 smugglers who attempted to bring 1.31 tons of hashish, 234 firearms and 9,216 rounds of ammunitions into the Kingdom from Yemen over the past three months.
Border Guards also arrested 2,502 foreigners who had illegally entered the country during the same period.
Border Guards also foiled attempts to smuggle 2,769 bundles of qat and more than 4,800 litters of liquor in the same period, the commander of Border Guards in Asir province, Brigadier Mahya Al-Otaiby, said on Saturday.
