BRJ purchases the vehicles at discounted price and then sells them to beneficiaries at the same discounted price to be paid in interest-free installments over a 12-month period. A beneficiary does not pay any fees against this service except the registration fees.

The vehicle’s capacity is 750 kilograms and could easily be modified to serve different purposes, such as selling vegetables or for delivering water.

The first batch of such trikes went to nine beneficiaries who started their projects in May. It is expected that each beneficiary will generate approximately 1,500 Egyptian pounds a month.

Maaz Al Faramawi, CEO BRJ International, said the program serves young men in Egypt.

“BRJ branches conduct field studies in each country, after which the most suitable and diversified programs are launched to create job opportunities for young men and women in each country. This year BRJ is planning to create 25,000 job opportunities throughout the world.”
