Indian Ambassador Talmiz Ahmed was chief guest at the function held at the auditorium of the school’s boys’ section in the city’s Rehab district. Speaking at the occasion, the ambassador congratulated teachers and students for the excellent results.

He also urged parents to continue supporting their children in their studies. “It's parents and teachers who together can shape their children's future,” he said, calling on students to continue with their hard work and maintaining high standards.

Ahmad was all praise for girls who achieved outstanding results in this year's CBSE exams. He further advised boys to work harder and excel in their studies as well as in co-curricular activities.

Among those present were M.S. Mubarak, India's acting consul general, Dr. M.S. Karimuddin, a member of the international schools' higher board, Salah Karadan, chairman of IISJ’s managing committee, and Suneeta Mainee, the ambassador’s wife.

IISJ Principal Syed Masood Ahmed presented the school's annual report and said CBSE class 10 and 12 students had brought honors for the school through their excellent performance at the board exams. He highlighted the various activities that were conducted. These included coaching for various entrance exams, and workshops and seminars for teachers and students. "Introducing the Smart Board has added a new dimension to the teaching and learning process," Masood added.

In his brief address, Chairman Karadan elucidated on the performance of the management committee, and praised students who won awards and parents for their efforts.

Teachers Ghousia Bano, Shareefa Nasreen and C.P. Joy were honored for completing 25 years of service. The teachers of X and XII were also presented mementos and certificates for their commendable contributions in achieving excellent results.

The Annual Prize Day function culminated with an exhilarating performance by the students of various classes. The day concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal of the Girls Section Farhatunnisa.
