- MADINAH: A judge has ruled that a father must return his young daughter to his ex-wife.
- Three-year-old Lana went missing more than a week ago and her mother had been searching for her since then.
Madinah authorities had been looking for the 30-year-old ex-husband who was accused by the mother of kidnapping the girl and her nanny from the custody of the mother.
The judge convinced the father to return the child to her mother until she reaches the marriage age. The father said he wanted to take the custody because the mother is a scholarship student abroad.
The judge forced him to return the child to the mother, and ordered the child to remain in the custody of her maternal grandmother the next time her mother travels abroad for studies.
The mother of the girl informed the police after the girl and the maid went missing after a visit with the father.
The grandmother said the daughter suffers psychological problems.
“We spoke to her father previously and told him we are fine with him seeing his daughter since he is the father and in the end he deserves to see her,” said the grandmother.
