- Al-AHSA: King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa sacked a university professor who worked at the agriculture and food college after he accepted a BlackBerry phone as a gift from a student who wanted to pass his exam.
The professor duly obliged after receiving the present. The university also prevented the professor from receiving his end-of-service benefits, including tickets for him and his family to go back home. He was also given an exit only visa, Al-Youm daily reported.
