- BURAIDAH: For many people the sight of a religious policeman heading their way conjures the image of being reprimanded for one thing or another, whether it’s admonishment for not praying or a lecture about the proper way to wear hijab.
But this was not the case for a Filipino worker in Buraidah, Qassim, who was so impressed by the manners of the local members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia) that he decided to embrace Islam.
According to a report in Thursday’s edition of Shams, the worker followed the Haia agents to their local precinct and declared his wish to convert.
