- BURAIDAH: Somebody is painting over road signs in Buraidah! According to a report in Sunday’s edition of Shams Arabic daily, locals have discovered that signs indicating towns and speed limits have been painted over in black, leading some to suspect this is a silent protest against Saher, the traffic-camera auto-ticketing technology.
After all, if you can’t see the speed limit then you can’t know if you’re speeding, right? In any case, authorities were taking steps to replace the signs and hopefully catch the do-badders.
