The celebrations included a photography exhibition on the Kingdom’s rich history and ongoing development. Large photographs of King Abdul Aziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, were also on display along with pictures of Saudi historic sites, handicrafts, architecture and the Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.

The exhibition also included a section showcasing costumes worn by women in old times.

“The exhibition conveyed to visitors information about Saudi culture and the progress that the Kingdom has made in various fields … under successive rulers,” said one of the organizers.

Highlights of the event included folk dances from various regions of the Kingdom.

Organizers expressed their thanks and gratitude to Saudi Ambassador to Canada Ahmad Al-Sanousi and Cultural Attaché Dr. Faisal Aba Al-Khail for their continued support and encouragement.
