Ghazi Al-Harbi, chairman of Gaza municipality, said workers found skulls and a skeleton inside a meter-long grave an the site and informed police.

Police then asked the municipality to take measures to stop the construction of the tower.

It was not clear whether the site was a grave or a body was hidden in the area.

Sahl Al-Malaibari, spokesman of Makkah Mayoralty, said if there was a grave in the site all construction work in the area would be stopped in respect of bodies.

A committee will be set up to determine that.
