- JEDDAH: A 65-year-old man got married for the first time with the financial support of a charitable marriage project.
- Muhammad Al-Dosari, who hails from a town in Riyadh province, had wanted to marry a particular young woman for several years.
But he could not save up enough money to pay the dowry and to fulfill other requirements. However, his opportunity came when a charitable organization listed his name as one of their 40 beneficiaries this season.
The old man thanked all those who helped him to realize his decades-long dream, Al-Riyadh daily reported on Wednesday.
