Fakhri bin Ismail Daghestani, chairman of the establishment’s board of directors, said his organization will serve 275,000 pilgrims this year through 48 field teams in Makkah and the holy sites. He said this year they plan to expand and upgrade the level of services provided to pilgrims.

“We will start providing the services upon the arrival of pilgrims until their departure home,” he added.

Daghestani said the establishment has upgraded its computer systems, bought new vehicles to transport pilgrims and acquired new ambulances for use 24 hours a day.

He said the staff would be available around the clock at its reception and guidance centers along the Jeddah-Makkah Expressway, King Abdulaziz International Airport and the Jeddah Islamic Port.

Daghestani also said the establishment will enlighten its pilgrims about the correct methods of performing the Haj.
