- JEDDAH: A four-year-old child died on Saturday while playing with the rope of a window curtain in a relative’s house in the village of Haleefa, 200 kilometers south of Hail city, security sources said.
The boy choked while playing with the rope around his neck. Relatives took him to a nearby clinic but he died on the way.
Meanwhile, criminal investigation officers in Hail have arrested two men who carried out a number of thefts in the city using a gun. One had stolen gold and jewelry from a Saudi man’s house while the other had stolen two cars. “We are still questioning the two thieves,” said Brig. Abdul Aziz Al-Zenaidy, spokesman for the Hail police.
