- JEDDAH: Syrian President Bashar Assad will visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday for talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.
The two leaders are expected to discuss major regional and international issues and explore prospects of boosting bilateral cooperation.
This is Assad's second visit to the Kingdom in a year. The Syrian leader visited the Kingdom in January 2010.
King Abdullah met with Assad in Damascus in July when both leaders flew to Beirut for a tripartite summit with the Lebanese President Michel Suleiman.
