The second PAN IIM Alumni Gulf Summit will bring together IIM alumni who are corporate leaders and entrepreneurs from a cross-section of industries and social sectors in India and the Middle East, to share their successful experiences and lessons.

The summit will be held under the theme “The New Global Economic Paradigm — Spotlight on India” and will seek to address the opportunities and critical challenges facing business leaders and managers in the rapidly evolving ‘new’ economic environment.

A special address will be given by Sanjay Verma, Consul General of India, Dubai. The panels will open with a speech by Madhu Payan Sharma, IIMA’70, president, Techmart, Dubai and director on the board of the Pan IIM Alumni Network Board. The keynote address will be delivered by V. Shankar, IIMB’79, CEO Europe, ME, Africa and Americas, Standard Chartered Bank.

There are over 250 alumni from the IIMs based in the UAE holding prominent positions in various sectors.
