A head-on collision between two vehicles happened on Taif-Turba road, killing three people and injuring seven others. Those injured included some university students.

At least a dozen units from the Red Crescent and Taif Health Department rushed to the scene and took the injured to hospital.

In the second accident, a member of the highway security force was injured while he was carrying out his patrolling duty near Dalam on the Riyadh-Taif expressway on Sunday evening.

A Diana truck hit the patrol vehicle from behind, causing it to lose control and overturn. The security man, who sustained multiple injuries, was taken to a nearby hospital.
