“The number of passengers traveling to and from Madinah increases significantly during this period of the year, which coincides with the Haj season,” Stewart added.

The schedule of the new three destinations sees one round-trip per week to Amman and Beirut on Wednesday and Thursday respectively, and one round-trip to Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

Nasair operates direct flights between Madinah and six other scheduled destinations throughout the year, with domestic flights to Riyadh, Dammam, Abha, and Jazan and international flights to Kuwait and Sharjah.

Nasair has succeeded in expanding its commitment by transporting about 30,000 pilgrims from India, Pakistan, Cameroon, Sudan and Senegal. “The success of this operation for the second year has encouraged nasair to go further with future plans to increase the number of pilgrims carried annually from Muslim countries,” he said.
