He is also noted to have been a member of the top management team of Tihama for Advertising & Public Relations in charge of international media advertising.

Another founder is George Assad, a veteran expert of the marketing communication industry in the Arab world for over 25 years, has held top leadership posts in regional and international advertising agencies, the latest having been regional CEO for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait & Egypt for Saatchi & Saatchi Middle East, out of his base in Riyadh.

The third founder is Mohammad Mukhtar Al-Fal, the well-known press editor and columnist who had shared in the establishment of a number of daily newspapers and weekly magazines and held editor-in-chief posts in some of them, the latest having been Al-Madina newspaper. In the last decade, Mohammad Mukhtar set up the firm “Falcomm Public Relations” and “Al-Fal Centre for Media Consultancy”.

In addition, FLLINT has a Board of Advisory Directors who will provide sound advice from an international perspective and ensure proper corporate governance, these directors being David John Dodd and Joff Douglas White.

On this occasion, Mohamed Al-Amin Al-Fal – chairman of the board of directors of FLLINT said said that it should no longer be acceptable to keep the doors of this industry closed in the face of the Saudi youth, this issue was and will always remain in our minds while setting up our strategies given the volume of the Saudi investment in the communication industry and also knowing that the Saudi market is the largest single market in the region, which should naturally reflect on the greatest share of jobs in the industry to Saudi youths. He added that we should admit that the ad industry requires advanced skills, and believes that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques scholarship program will pump highly skilled youths into the industry. He also drew the attention to the fact that the senior executives in the media and advertising industries are among the highest income earners compared with other sectors, which should be a point of attraction to Saudi youths.

George Assad, CEO, FLLINT said: “From a personal viewpoint, I certainly feel gratified with my association with the Al-Fal Brothers with whom I’ve known for over 20 years.”

“Our FLLINT venture is regional, but we chose to start with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from its being the largest market in the region, and from its having the best indicators for a self-sustained economy and for unmatched prospects of growth, the marketing communication business in Saudi Arabia has grown more and more sophisticated through the years, in a market environment that maintains a unique brand of modernity and tradition that is quite challenging creatively.

From these perspectives FLLINT will lose no time to impose itself as a key player in the communication industry in Saudi Arabia, so that once it consolidates its position here, it’ll then move into other markets in the region.”
