- JEDDAH: The Indian School Parents Forum (ISPAF) organized a workshop on effective communication for senior students in coordination with senior Toastmasters in Jeddah over the weekend.
The workshop held at Al-Rayan Polyclinic auditorium in Sharafiya was attended by more than 50 students from various schools.
Toastmaster Joey Villanueva demonstrated how to make an impromptu speech. He explained various methods to give a short speech on any topic without preparation, which might help students face interviews or similar situations. There was also a session on effective listening.
Other senior Toastmasters supporting the workshop were Tess Villanueva, Bobby Ensomo and Gina Casino. Participation certificates were issued to students in the name of PACE Toastmasters Club.
ISPAF President Hassan Assainar welcomed the audience and ISPAF Secretary Abdul Azeez Thankayathil moderated the event.
