The competition will also provide a chance for the artists to exhibit animation. The event will honor caricaturist icon Ali Al-Khoraiji for his long-term history as one of the first Saudi caricaturists. Participants must be Saudi citizens. Each artist can submit up to five works.

There will be two major categories: professional and amateur.

The first place winner in the professional category will receive SR5,000; the second place winner will receive SR4,000; the third place winner will receive SR3,000. In the amateur category, the first place winner gets SR3,000; the second place winner will receive SR2,000; the third place winner will receive SR1,000. Trophies will also be given to the winners.
