Malarvadi, a group of south Indian nationals, organized the program. The children took part in several activities like drawing, coloring, painting, story writing, quiz competitions and memory tests.

The main event was a film festival, presented in a packed auditorium. Short Malayalam documentary films “Kelkkunnundo,” by debuting director Geethu Mohan Das, and “Thottavaadi,” made by teacher Faizal Korangode, were shown. Both aim to highlight the concern for downtrodden children around the globe and the love and affection they yearn for. Dinner was served to all attendees and at the end prizes were distributed to the winners.
