The leaks say former US Ambassador to Islamabad Anne W. Patterson had sent a cable to the US State Department that said Asif Zardari had asked his son Bilawal to name his sister as his successor as president in the event he is assassinated.

It was Arab News which had reported in February 2008 that Maulana Fazalur Rehman had requested US administration to accept him as next prime minister of Pakistan in an interview with Hamid Gul.

Now Wikileaks has brought that request to public.
