“We have completed 192 educational projects during the past 26 years,” Al-Modaires said, adding that the projects were implemented at a total cost of SR1.024 billion.

He said the new building projects would help the department discard 45 rented buildings and replace 10 old school buildings.

“The new buildings will provide a modern learning atmosphere for students.”

Al-Modaires said his department renovated 182 school buildings during the past five years at a cost of SR118.44 million.

Meanwhile, about 30,000 people in 35 districts in Faisaliyah, west of Dammam, complained about lack of public education facilities in their districts.
