The statement said the baby was in good health and was with his mother and grandmother at the hospital until he was noticed missing at 7 a.m. on Sunday.

“The nurse immediately reported the matter to the hospital’s Director General Ali Al-Muhammadi who ordered a search and for the hospital’s doors to be closed,” it said, adding that the police have also been alerted.
