Ducks 3 Oilers 2, SO: At Edmonton, Alberta, Cam Fowler’s goal in the 10th round of a shootout lifted Anaheim over Edmonton after the Ducks blew a two-goal lead in the third period.

Joffrey Lupul had a goal to give the Ducks the lead in the shootout’s first round. Taylor Hall, the top pick in this year’s draft, answered in the third round for Edmonton.

Jonas Hiller made 34 saves through overtime. Khabibulin stopped 30.

Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne scored in regulation for the Ducks, who had been shut out in their two previous games and had lost eight of 11.
