The court order was issued by 3-member Supreme Court Bench headed by Chief Justice Iftkhar Chaudhry.

The intelligence agency’s lawyer Raja Irshad had admitted before the court Thursday that the 11 men were nabbed by the ISI and MI because they were terrorists and involved in major incidents of terrorism within the jurisdiction of Pakistan Armed Forces.

Irshad said that the persons under custody are high profile terrorists facing court martial proceedings. He claimed these men were suspects in several terrorist acts including the suicide attack which claimed the life of the Surgeon General of Pakistan Army and the attack on Army General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
