The meeting was attended by Prince Muqrin, chief of intelligence, Prince Turki bin Sultan, assistant minister of culture and information, Prince Salman bin Sultan, assistant to secretary-general of National Security Council for intelligence affairs, and Abdullah Al-Asheikh, chairman of the Shoura Council.

Also on Saturday, Prince Sultan received a message from Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah. The message was handed to the crown prince by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Sabah, special envoy of the emir.
