The campaign, which focuses on promoting promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom, is being held in three stages. The first stage consists of promoting the actual forum for the attention of companies and individuals who might be interested in investing in it. This will run from Dec. 4 to Feb. 15.

The second stage involves advertising the forum’s adjacent workshop and will run from March 1-23. The third stage will focus on inviting the public to attend the forum and will run from March 26-30.

The campaign, which will last for four months, addresses different sectors of society, including the SCTA’s main partners, companies and establishments that work in the tourism sector, providers of tourism services, and any bodies interested in investing in tourism.

The SCTA also aims to utilize the media to promote the campaign. This includes using Saudi Channel 1, Al-Ekhbaria, Al-Arabiya, MBC 1, MBC FM, and newspapers such as Al-Riyadh, Al-Watan, Al-Jazirah, Okaz and Arab News. The campaign will also be advertised in some GCC newspapers. Popular websites such as Yahoo, Google, Maktoob and Facebook will also be used for promotion purposes.

Organizers say the forum will be one of the most important meetings, exhibitions and tourism markets in the region. It is to be held to develop the Kingdom’s tourism industry, attract investments, and exchange views and experiences on the latest issues concerning travel and tourism.

The event will also provide an environment for key individuals in the industry to discuss issues, and encourage and stimulate new investment initiatives.
