The kaleme.com website says authorities detained members of Mohammad Nourizad’s family Thursday after they gathered outside of Tehran’s Evin prison to inquire about his health.

The report says Nourizad’s wife, son, two daughters, parents and brothers were all in custody.

Nourizad is serving a three and a half year prison sentence for spreading propaganda against the government and insulting the country’s leaders.

Recent reports by opposition websites have said that Nourizad has been hospitalized because of his failing health. He also is reported to have started a hunger strike last week.
