The Forum, organized by SAGIA, will be held in Riyadh from Jan. 22-25 and will be attended by prominent business leaders and academics on a global and local level.

Al-Dabbagh thanked Siemens, one of the major telecom companies in the region, for supporting the forum. He stressed that SAGIA is always keen on building partnerships with select private firms and sectors that will help promote the Kingdom’s competitiveness both globally and regionally.

Kahlbua explained that Siemens takes great pride in sponsoring the forum and is equally keen on strengthening ties with SAGIA for the welfare of Saudi Arabia.

“The agreement will not only facilitate our operations, but will also assist us to achieve sustainability, growth and development for coming generations,” he said.

The Fifth Global Competitiveness Forum is a significant pre-Davos global dialogue event with over 100 speakers, many of whom are returning from previous events.

This year’s forum will cover several key economic issues. These include innovation as a means to sustainable competitiveness, creativity and improving the Saudi investment environment in light of new global changes.

In addition, there will be an examination of global experiences and the launch of initiatives targeted at increasing Saudi public and private competitiveness.
