In Dammam, Al-Ittifaq surprised Al-Shabab by a solitary goal at the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium.

The win for Ittifaq was important especially after their 5-1 defeat against Ahli in the pervious round. Ittifaq is now on fourth position with 29 points while Shabab dropped to the fifth position with 25 points.

In Al-Ahsa, Al-Ahli defeated Al-Fateh 2-1. Victor scored the first goal for Ahli in the 21st minutes from a fine header. Marcinho gave Ahli the second goal in the 86th minute from a fine shot inside the penalty box. This is the third consecutive win for Ahli after the start of the second round.

The result strengthened Ahli’s position in the eighth place with 20 points while Al-Fateh dropped to the 11th position with 15 points.

In the last match, Al-Qadasiya defeated Al-Hazem 1-0 in Alkhobar. The only goal of the match came in the 87th minute from a penalty kick. Al-Qadasiya jumped to the 10th place with 15 points while Al-Hazem is last with six points only.

The Saudi league takes a break and will resume after the Asian Cup in February.
