- JEDDAH: The Al-Mawada Family Consultation Center, an organization that helps families overcome disputes and other domestic issues, helped some 9,944 families last year by giving them over-the-telephone consultations.
The majority of calls that the center received were from Jeddah followed by Makkah, Taif, Khamis Mushait, Dammam, Riyadh, Jazan, Abha, Madinah, Tabuk, Baha, Al-Qassim, Bisha, Yanbu, Rabigh, Sabt Al-Olaia and Mahayil Asir.
The center also received calls from the UAE and the UK. Zuhair Nasir, the organization’s secretary general, said Al-Mawada helps families with the help of its 14 specialists in psychology and sociology.
