The woman claims that there have been multiple withdrawals from her bank account by another woman who assumed her identity. Police arrested a suspect, who was using cash to make major purchases at different shopping centers in Jeddah.

“We are now investigating how the woman was able to withdraw huge amounts of money without the victim’s knowledge,” police spokesman First Lt. Nawaf Al-Bouq told Arab News. He added that the suspect admitted to stealing the money but not to forging identification.
