- RIYADH: Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif on Monday held talks with Labor Minister Adel Fakieh and called for greater efforts to employ Saudis.
"During the meeting they discussed matters relating to labor and workers and stressed that priority should be given to Saudis in employment," said an official statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
Meanwhile, Prince Naif received a copy of the 46th annual report of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), which was presented to him by SAMA Gov. Mohammed Al-Jasser in the presence of Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf and other senior officials.
The report highlights major economic developments in the Kingdom in 2009 and in the first quarter of 2010, performance of different economic sectors and SAMA's efforts to strengthen the Kingdom's banking and financial sector.
