- JEDDAH: Residents of Jeddah’s Al-Rabwa district have called on the authorities to repair roads and remove stagnant pools of water which they say are breeding grounds for insects and may seep into clean underground water storage tanks.
The complaints were made when members of the Municipal Council visited the district and met residents. Members of the council also noticed that many of the roads that had been previously repaired were damaged. One member, Bassam Akhdar, said the district will be repaired soon.
He also promised to follow up on the repairs with the relevant government departments.
