- MADINAH: A woman teacher died and five of her colleagues were injured in a road accident in the Hanakiya governorate of Madinah province Monday morning, said Abdul Razak Hafiz, spokesman of the Health Directorate in Madinah.
All of the injured and the body of the dead teacher were taken to Hanakiya General Hospital, said Hafiz, adding that some of the injured are in a critical condition.
The teachers were heading to a school in the town of Al-Hasw.
Two women teachers and a man also died around a month ago on the same road.
In another incident, the body of an elderly Pakistani man was found in the town of Al-Mafrahat on the Old Jeddah Road.
Spokesman for Madinah police Brig. Mohsen Al-Raddadi said the body had some wounds and that police are investigating the death.
