Al-Sugair serves as non-executive independent member of the Board of Mobile Telecommunications Co. Saudi Arabia. He is currently general manager of the Business Development Unit of Abdulqader Al-Mehaideb and Sons Company. In addition, he holds a position on the Boards of several Saudi companies, including Arabian Pipes Company, SAAB Corporation Company, and Eastern Petrochemicals Company. He holds a master's and a doctorate degree in civil engineering from Stanford University, United States. He is a member of the teaching staff of King Saud University.
