- MOSCOW — Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal on Friday handed Russian President Dmitry Medvedev a message from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, before arriving in Egypt later in the day.
- He was received by Saudi diplomats in Cairo.
Prince Saud gave Medvedev the message at a meeting also attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Medvedev's foreign policy adviser Sergei Prikhodko, the Saudi Press Agency said.
At the meeting the two sides discussed issues related to the situation in the Middle East.
