- NEW DELHI: India’s Essar Oil may defer its planned refinery shutdown to September-October from a planned May-June, said an industry source with knowledge of the matter.
In January, the company said it planned to completely shut down its 280,000 barrels per day (bpd) Vadinar refinery for 35 days in May-June to add new units and raise capacity to 360,000 bpd by end-June.
