- RIYADH: Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif has urged all ministries and government departments to cooperate with the National Authority for Fighting Corruption.
"I hereby extend the support of the Interior Ministry and all its agencies to the authority," he said while receiving Muhammad Al-Sharief, the newly appointed president of the authority.
"I hope you would select the right people to carry out this important job," the prince told Al-Sharief and congratulated him for winning the trust of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.
Prince Naif said fighting corruption is like fighting a disease. "All doors should be open for you to carry out this job easily and sincerely," he added.
He commended King Abdullah's efforts to fight all forms of corruption in the country. "The new authority is directly linked with the king so that it would not face any obstacles in carrying out its mission," he added.
