The summit, organized by Elite International Careers and CWG Group in London this week, was sponsored by Samba and Siemens and attended by 21 leading employers in Saudi Arabia.

“This was a great opportunity for Saudi companies to support the return of the most qualified Saudis to the Kingdom,” said Nick Jesani-Lee, Elite's managing director. “Elite provides a screening and selection process which ensures that only the best and most relevant candidates are invited to the event to meet the top-notch companies."

Over 600 interviews were conducted by the companies in their designated interview areas and it is expected that many of the interviewed candidates will receive offers of employment as a result. Many of the interviews were pre-scheduled, with Elite organizing over 250 interviews on the spot. "Elite and CWC are also offering ongoing support to all attending companies to assist with post-summit recruitment," said Jesani-Lee.

The company also announced it would host a similar event in Washington DC on May 27.

At the conclusion of the conference, Saudi Arabian Airlines presented a miniature model of the Grand Mosque to Elite as an appreciation of their efforts in organizing the summit and serving the Saudi candidates. 

On its part, BMI Airlines also participated in the event and provided two business class tickets to Saudi Arabia in a prize draw.

Elite is part of a £300m turnover group of recruitment companies in the UK. Elite specializes in emerging markets in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.

The CWC Group are renowned world experts in oil, gas, power and investment sectors, particularly in emerging markets.

The CWG Group based in London works closely with many governments and international corporations to highlight key issues and challenges facing the global energy industry. It has had a substantial presence in the Gulf states.
