Another new Facebook game comes from , who have just unveiled Yoostar Playground, the company’s new Facebook game that works seamlessly with Yoostar2 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Play the Facebook game at . "Yoostar 2 and Yoostar Playground can be enjoyed as two separate games with each designed to take advantage of its own unique platform. But the true break-through and total enjoyment comes when playing both games as one, it brings the party experience of the console game to your social network," said Stephanie Morgan, Vice President of Social Gaming for Yoostar Entertainment Group.

A new breed of social gaming for consoles and an ideal party game, Yoostar 2, brings the fun of Hollywood into any home. Using the magic of Kinect for Xbox 360 or the PlayStation Eye, players insert themselves into famous movie and TV scenes, starring alongside or in place of their favorite actors. Players perform the lines as written in English, Spanish, French, Italian or German, or "flip the script" and deliver a personalized improvisation. Yoostar 2 then scores the performance and lets players share their scene to Facebook, Twitter, Yoostar 2’s in-game social portal on Xbox LIVE online entertainment network and PlayStation Network, or Yoostar.com.

Fans can also experience the game from a whole new perspective on Facebook’s Yoostar Playground, a completely new kind of social game where players can earn Badges and "Yoobucks" by participating in the community and completing challenges. Players make Movie Mashups by combining multiple scenes together to create mini movies, and they enter contests to win cash and prizes by creating and uploading new scenes. Then players can watch as their Fame points rise on both the video game and Facebook, hopefully taking them from struggling actors to A-list celebrities.

Moving from Facebook to massively multiplayer online gaming, Mattel has created the , to bring the toy cars kids loved for decades into the digital age. The 3D-rendered video game replicates the fast-paced excitement of real-life racing with cool virtual customizations. Hot Wheels Racing Circuit allows players to design their own cars with multiple paint schemes, body styles, and accessories. With these custom cars, players challenge friends to races and tournaments on specially developed race tracks. The first two race tracks are free to all users, while access to premium tracks along with exclusive rims, colors and other accessories are available with a $29.95 annual subscription.

The last bit of fun to talk about today is the new Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version for the Nintendo DS. Pokémon was launched in Japan in 1996 and it’s still wildly popular. Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version transport players to the never-before-seen Unova region. Until the main story of the game is complete, every Pokémon that players encounter — more than 150 in total — will have never been seen before in previous Pokémon video games. For the first time in the series, in-game environments will change with the four seasons, during which select Pokémon will show up more or less frequently.

Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version will provide access to the Pokémon Global Link website. Set to launch this spring, this new online service will offer three main components that enhance the Pokémon video game experience. The Pokémon Dream World features new ways to interact with Pokémon in a customizable Web-only setting, featuring minigames that enable Pokémon and items to be transferred back into the Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version video game. The Global Battle Union allows players to keep track of their battle record against other players around the world and assigns players a Worldwide Rating. In some countries, it also provides an opportunity to compete in live events. Pokémon Global Link will also house the Pokémon Global Trade Station, giving players the ability to track Pokémon trades all over the world.
