- RIYADH: An official of the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Tehran was airlifted to the Kingdom following the diagnosis of a serious illness.
“At the orders of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, a medical evacuation aircraft transported Yasser Al-Qarni, attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Iran, to a hospital in the Kingdom for medical treatment. He is seriously ill and needs intensive care,” Saudi Ambassador to Iran Muhammad Al-Kilabi said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency on Friday.
