Celso P. Magora was treated on April 7 at the Buraidah Central Hospital, according to Welfare Officer Eduardo Mendoza of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office — Central Region (POLO-CRO), but later died.

“As it is a police case, we have referred it to the Assistance to the Nationals Section at the Philippine Embassy,” Mendoza said, adding that the employer should repatriate the victim’s remains.

Magora’s family in Tuguegarao City north of Manila had been informed of his death.

Mendoza added that in case the employer, Reemal Al-Sowahel Est., has problems in repatriating the body, the POLO would take responsibility.

Farhan Wathan Anezi, an engineer who is the company's regional manager in Qassim, said that papers are now being prepared for the repatriation of the victim's remains.

He said the company is doing its best to expedite everything.

Magora had just arrived back from his vacation in the Philippines when the unfortunate incident took place.
