- RIYADH: Saudi Ceramic Company generated a consolidated net profit for Q1 2011 amounting to SR60 million, an increase of three percent compared to the same period last year (SR58 million) and an increase of five percent compared to Q4 2010 (SR57 million).
Its total gross profit for Q1 amounted to SR112 million, an increase of 11 percent compared to the same period last year (SR101 million), according to its interim consolidated financial results for the period ended March 31, 2011 .
Its net operating profit for Q1 amounted to SR65 million, an increase of 12 percent compared to the same period last year (SR58 million).
The earnings per share (EPS) for the three months were SR2.4 compared to SR2.34 for the prior year.
“These positive results reflect the company’s ability in sales and production as well,” the company added.
