- RIYADH: The Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI) welcomed a Japanese delegation, headed by Hiroshi Okuda, chairman of Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) as well as former President of Toyota Motors Co., together with Tadatsuna Kohda, president of JCCME here.
The Japanese delegation is part of the team that participated in the Janadriyah Festival in Riyadh.
The delegation was met on Saturday by the SEHAI Saudi Working Group (SWG) top administration, including Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Latif Jameel, president of ALJ Co., and Salim Al-Asmarei, head of SWG at SEHAI Diraiya campus.
Okuda communicated with SWG members and students during his visit to SEHAI workshops (air conditioner, home appliances, PC & Office equipment and electronics) where the first batch of students was in practical training. Kohda spoke in Arabic and lauded and thanked the Saudi partners.
Stressing that SEHAI is on the right track on Saudization, Al-Asmarei thanked the Japanese business leaders for their continuous support, emphasizing that Japanese cooperation was necessary to develop SEHAI’s quality.
