“President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, army chief Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and ISI Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmad Shuja Pasha have visited the Kingdom, but we will have more frequent visits and will be consulting each other on vital international issues,” she said.

She also said that people of Pakistan have a special love and respect for Saudi Arabia.

Khar said that there are 1.5 million Pakistanis living in the Kingdom and Islamabad will send more skilled manpower to the Kingdom, which will include medical and agricultural specialists and IT experts.

She said: “Saudi Arabia needs our expertise in agriculture and agro-based industries. We will offer farm lands to Saudi investors in Pakistan."

She also said the Kingdom has expressed its willingness to finance the Diamir Bhasha Dam for developing the energy sector in Pakistan.

Responding to a question, Khar said: “Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will have a well-coordinated approach for the resolution of the Afghanistan crisis."

She also expressed her concern about the Indian consulates’ activities in Afghanistan, saying: “When we say that it’s our policy that no terrorist activity will be generated from our soil and no terrorist planning will take place from our soil we expect the same from Afghanistan.”

She also announced that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will hold regular meetings of Pak-Saudi Joint Ministerial Commission and the Makhdoom Amin Fahim will be the chairman of the commission.
